Biography

As an executive coach, Mel draws on the experience of his diverse career spanning 35 years, with the last 20 years holding CEO and board roles across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe and the USA.

Mel has held senior leadership roles in large Australasian companies across key functional areas, including strategy, business transformation, program and project management, operations, supply chain and information technology. His first CEO role was at Nike Pacific, from 1999 through to 2002, and he has since held a number of CEO, Divisional CEO, Regional VP and Group General Manager.

He has more than 10 years’ experience in various board roles or private and ASX companies, including chair, deputy chair and independent director. He is currently an Independent Director of an agricultural company based in New Zealand.

More recently, Mel has realised that his life purpose and passion, is to coach and mentor boards, CEOs and senior executives on all aspects of business – from strategy and business transformation through to mergers and acquisitions – to address immediate business challenges and build and deliver long term wealth for shareholders.
